About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Singh Security Services. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, assessing client needs, and recommending appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Sales to Existing Clients

You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and promoting our products and services to existing clients.

Assess Client Needs and Resources

You will assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services that meet their requirements.

Conduct Sales Transactions

You will conduct sales transactions, including preparing and administering sales contracts.

Troubleshoot Problems

You will troubleshoot problems related to equipment and provide technical support to clients.

Advertise and Promote Products

You will advertise and promote our products and services to potential clients.

Provide Customer Service

You will provide excellent customer service to clients, including responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues they may have.

Supervise Technical Sales Specialists

You will supervise the activities of other technical sales specialists and provide guidance and support as needed.

Estimate Costs

You will estimate the costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services.

Requirements
  • Education

A Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in sales or a related field is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

Proficiency in MS Office is required.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have a client-focused approach.

Recruit Newcomers and Refugees

You will recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster.

Support Foreign Credential Recognition

You will support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.

Offer Mentorship Programs

You will offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.

Provide Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training

You will provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.

Support for Youths
  • Participate in Government or Community Programs

You will participate in government or community programs that support youth employment.

Offer On-the-Job Training

You will offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.

Offer Mentorship and Coaching

You will offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.

Provide Awareness Training

You will provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Support for Indigenous People
  • Participate in Government or Community Programs

You will participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.

Offer Mentorship and Coaching

You will offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.

Develop Relationships with Indigenous Communities

You will develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, Indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.

Provide Cultural Competency Training

You will provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Facilitate Access to Elders

You will facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.

Support for Visible Minorities
  • Participate in Government or Community Programs

You will participate in government or community programs that support members of visible minorities.

Apply Hiring Policies

You will apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
