Job Summary

The Store Manager is a key leadership role within the EssilorLuxottica Group, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results in our retail stores. As a Store Manager, you will be the face of our brand, leading a team of optical professionals to provide top-notch service and sales to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Experience
    • Ensure that every customer interaction is personalized, friendly, and exceeds expectations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of optical professionals.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Business Results
    • Drive sales growth and profitability through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotions.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment that reflects the EssilorLuxottica Group's brand standards.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure that all store employees are trained on and comply with company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and customers.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • 4+ years of management or supervisory experience in a retail or optical environment.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education
    • College degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a retail or optical management role.
  • Skills
    • Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
    • Ability to manage time under aggressive deadlines.
