- To partner with healthcare professionals and hospitals to support hematology oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.
- To be ambitious for patients by optimizing the use of our hematology oncology medicines in alignment with GSK's values and mission.
- Develop and execute a strategic business sales plan that maximizes territory growth, including setting short and long-term objectives for customers, healthcare professionals, and hospital/cancer centers.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customers, hospitals, and the provincial/hospital oncology environment, including the best levers to bring value to key decision-makers.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of GSK products, strategies, positioning, and plans of action in the hematology oncology space.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of competitor companies, products, positioning, and how healthcare professionals view the overall landscape in the hematology oncology space.
- Effectively engage healthcare professionals in scientific discussions that challenge the status quo and raise task tension to ensure GSK products are optimally prescribed to the right patient at the right time.
- Develop effective internal relationships and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to create new, impactful ideas that achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Embrace accountability and empowerment to make quick decisions that consider all key internal and external stakeholders.
- Take a bigger picture view when making trade-off decisions and look for the best opportunity to support healthcare professionals across the country.
- Contribute to a great results-oriented working environment by bringing positive energy and commitment to hold self and others accountable for delivering on objectives.
- Know and fully comply with all rules, policies, procedures, both internally and during customer interactions.
- Represent GSK in a way that consistently demonstrates respect, transparency, and integrity, putting patients first and protecting the company reputation.
- Bachelor's degree completed, advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Significant and recent hematological oncology experience (minimum 5 years) is preferred, especially in markets inclusive of key academic centers.
- In the absence of current hematological oncology expertise, proven and outstanding performance in launching a product in a competitive market is essential.
- Self-starter who is driven by a desire to leave a lasting positive impact on the healthcare system and hematology oncology patients, regardless of barriers.
- Persuasive individual willing to productively challenge the status quo for the benefit of the patient, both internally and externally with customers and stakeholders who may have ingrained beliefs and behaviors.
- Innovative, agile, and fearless collaborator with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, a natural curiosity, and an ability to actively listen.
- Experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing, managing a breadth and volume of activities on a day-to-day basis to satisfactory conclusion and delivering to required timelines.
- Working knowledge of computer technology, Office-based applications, and agility to learn new programs.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to travel within territory and domestically as required.
