Therapeutic Specialist, Women's Health

Job Summary:
Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Therapeutic Specialist, Women's Health to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our women's health product to healthcare professionals, developing and executing strategic territory plans, and fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote our women's health product to healthcare professionals through effective sales presentations and medical education activities.
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, including marketing, medical affairs, and market access teams.
- Successfully leverage omnichannel to engage with healthcare professionals through various communication channels.
- Demonstrate recent launch experience by successfully introducing new products to the market.
- Navigate and succeed in a complex reimbursement environment.
- Identify unmet educational needs of healthcare professionals and deliver non-promotional learning programs.
- Exhibit leadership, accountability, and internal motivation to achieve and surpass individual and team sales targets.
- Demonstrate consistent strong teamwork and winning attitude and positive approach.
- Accurately report and submit sales call activities, territory expenses, and written reports within deadline.
- Attend all company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed by company management.
- Ensure territory sales strategy execution using annual territory business plan, regional business plan, and call activity reports.
- Responsible for personal compliance and helping embed a compliance culture within the affiliate.
Requirements:
- University degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales experience in the pharmaceutical/health care industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information.
- Established business acumen and budget management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management databases (Veeva).
- Must be willing to travel approximately 30%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in life sciences or business.
- Therapeutic Area experience; Women's Health.
- Extensive or recent product launch experience.
- Bilingual English/French (Territory Specific).
