Kitchen Operations Staff

The Ksan House Society is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing nutritious meals to individuals in need.
Qualifications- Education: No formal education required.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
The successful candidate will work in a supportive setting focused on community service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
- Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Food Safety Certificate is required.
- First Aid Certificate is an asset.
Working within a community service organization is preferred.
Safety and SecurityA criminal record check will be conducted.
Physical Requirements- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically demanding tasks.
- Capability to stand for extended periods.
