About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our team at Polly's Cafe as a Kitchen Helper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, portion and wrap foods, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders and provide excellent service to our patrons.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Personal Qualities
  • Client Focus: Provide exceptional service to our customers and ensure their needs are met.
  • Reliability: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be punctual and reliable in your attendance and performance.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to achieve our goals and objectives.
