Job Summary

Comfort Keepers Kelowna is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Care Aide to join our team. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve meals to clients.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments and errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a care-related field.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

As a Registered Care Aide with Comfort Keepers Kelowna, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of clients. You will be required to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time. You must be able to distinguish between colors and have excellent interpersonal skills.
