We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Care Aide to join our team at Comfort Keepers Kelowna. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient care and comfort duties, including administering first aid and supplying bed pans.
  • Assist with personal care, such as bathing and dressing, and provide emotional support to our clients.
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any concerns to our team.
  • Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist with feeding and hydration.
  • Provide physical support, including weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients, and assist with mobility and transfers.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Registered Care Aide, you will work in a variety of settings, including private homes and community facilities.
