Job Title: Executive Chef - Ethnic Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Grand Empire Banquet & Convention Centre Ltd. as part of our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
