About the Role
The Plant Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of production at our manufacturing site. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure excellence in safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity, and quality
- Develop and lead a competent and engaged team
- Drive labor best practices and manage on-time starts and employee overtime
- Conduct daily shift huddles and utilize huddle boards
- Lead weekly site performance reviews and monthly downtime workshops
- Report site performance using KPIs and OPS dashboards
- Implement a best-in-class quality program to ensure consistent, top-quality products
- Ensure products meet and exceed customer expectations
Requirements
- Previous knowledge of production equipment is a desirable asset
- Basic knowledge of wet cast/dry cast and precast concrete production processes
- Good Mechanical and Electrical skills
- Excellent leadership and team building skills
- Proficient use of basic computer software such as Microsoft Office Products, Internet, Email
