Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories essential to site operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories to ensure site operation efficiency.
  • Repair and maintain leak detection systems to prevent environmental hazards.
  • Maintain professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner at all times.
  • Exercise independent judgment in solving unusual work problems and making decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Possess the physical and mental capabilities to work under stress and control multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Participate in an on-call 24/7 rotation to ensure seamless site operation.

Key Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with an affinity for solving complex problems.
  • Clean Driver's Abstract and Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Organized, timely, and professional work habits.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Motivated and results-driven individual.

Additional Assets

  • Electrical expertise in petroleum or a related field, or an understanding of electrical concepts and basic programming.
  • TSSA Petroleum Mechanic Certifications (PM1, PM2, PM3, or PMH).
  • Measurement Canada Certified Inspector.

What We Offer

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $28.90 - $34 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including experience, education, and performance related to this role.
