POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Petroleum Service Technician Apprentice to become part of our expanding workforce. Our expertise lies in the upkeep and repair of petroleum apparatus, electrical systems, and fuel management solutions for retail fuel stations, large industrial manufacturing facilities, utility companies, transit services, and municipal works.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in hands-on technical training while shadowing certified technicians to assist with:
- Maintenance and servicing of petroleum apparatus, systems, and components vital for operational efficiency.
- Repair and upkeep of leak detection systems.
- Accumulate hours towards obtaining petroleum technician certification.
- Deliver parts to various job sites as necessary.
- Oversee organization and cleanliness of the workshop and storage areas.
- Assist lead technicians during service calls as a secondary support.
- Uphold professionalism and discretion to reflect positively on the Company.
- Cultivate independent judgment for resolving unique work challenges.
- Establish strong, reliable, and enduring relationships with clients.
- Develop proficiency in completing documentation accurately and promptly.
- Adhere to the company's health and safety policies and protocols.
- Demonstrate the physical and mental capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a knack for troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- Capable of making sound decisions while working autonomously.
- Willingness to travel and explore new locations.
- Constantly seeking improvements and efficiencies in processes.
- Eagerness to learn and follow guidance when necessary.

This position is a full-time role with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24 to $30, determined by the candidate's qualifications, including experience, education, and performance related to this position.
