Surgical Nurse Specialist

As a Surgical Nurse Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented interdisciplinary team to provide quality care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide safe and effective care to surgical patients
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
* Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices
* Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements:
* Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
* Current certification or eligibility for Certification of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
* Recent 2 years surgical experience preferred
* A physical assessment course preferred
* Previous experience in rehab and general surgery preferred
* All shift availability required
* Evidence of on-going professional development preferred
* Satisfactory attendance and performance required
