Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Off Road Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on heavy construction equipment, diesel and diesel electric mining machinery, and off-road heavy trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy construction equipment, diesel and diesel electric mining machinery, and off-road heavy trucks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the extent of repair required
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts as needed
  • Instruct apprentices and maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Interact with customers and operators in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Experience with heavy construction equipment, diesel and diesel electric mining machinery, and off-road heavy trucks
  • Journeyman or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician - Off Road and/or On Road certification
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a team environment and travel to remote job sites
