About the Job

Headwater Equipment Sparwood is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Journeyman Off Road Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy off-road equipment, including trucks, bulldozers, graders, and excavators.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, identifying and replacing defective parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with clients and operators in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Journeyman Off Road Technician or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to remote job sites and adapt to changing work environments.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate ($47-$53/hour) and overtime pay.
  • Guaranteed minimum 44 hours/week with opportunities for additional hours.
  • 5x5 shift rotation with a typical day being 12 hours.
