About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Pizza Cook at Papa Joe's Pizzeria. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn our systems and procedures.
  • Work Setting: Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to work well under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, and you must be able to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
