We are seeking a skilled Third Cook to join our kitchen team at CAFE ORIENT - Authentic Chinese Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to our menu and quality standards.
- Menu Planning and Inventory Management: Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Kitchen Maintenance and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect food and kitchen areas to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Chinese language skills an asset.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced kitchen environment with heavy lifting and standing required.
