Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and evaluate mathematics education programs and practices.
  • Provide leadership in creating a learning environment that promotes student development and achievement.
  • Utilize various resources, including technology, communication, and hands-on materials, to deepen professional knowledge and support student learning.
  • Foster a community of professional learning and growth among colleagues.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Specialist qualification in mathematics education.
  • Recent experience in full-time teaching or administration in a school or school board.
  • Experience in implementing the Ontario curriculum in mathematics education.
  • Up-to-date qualification confirmation in the field.
  • Manifest ability to apply the Ontario College of Teachers' Professional Standards and the Ontario College of Teachers' Code of Ethics.

An acceptable level of education and/or experience may be viewed as equivalent to the required education and/or demonstrated experience.
