Job Title: Development Coordinator

At STARS, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Development Coordinator to join our team. As a critical member of our fundraising team, you will play a key role in enhancing our fundraising activities and improving campaign administration and planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the delivery of major gift activities for key campaign segments in collaboration with the Team Lead, Fundraising Coordination and Foundation Leaders.
  • Work closely with the Donor Relations & Development team to identify opportunities to increase major gift opportunities to support STARS critical mission operations.
  • Support the advancement of major gift activities to improve and grow future major gift success.
  • Utilize Raiser's Edge to efficiently track and manage major gift activities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in donor relations, non-profit fundraising, or other customer relations.
  • A post-secondary diploma or certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or Fund Development.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • High level administrative skills and competencies.
  • Experience with non-profit CRM software, such as Raiser's Edge.
