About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Operations Supervisor to join our team at Tanx Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching.
  • Train and Develop our drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance of our fleet of vehicles to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies to ensure that our drivers have the necessary materials and equipment to perform their duties.
  • Ensure Compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including health and safety regulations.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions to management, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the transportation industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
