Senior Analyst, Risk Modeling and Analytics

Job Family Group: Data Analytics & Reporting

As a Senior Analyst, Risk Modeling and Analytics, you will apply advanced mathematical and statistical methods to identify and mitigate financial risks. You will conduct research and develop tools to analyze complex data sets, identify key factors, and create scenario-based planning models to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quantitative risk models for assigned portfolios, including fixed income, corporate credit, and loans.
  • Monitor risk in strategies and portfolios, working closely with project managers and functional leads.
  • Conduct research and develop data-driven tools to inform financial decisions, such as investments and pricing.
  • Apply knowledge of risk assessment and controls, as well as industry compliance standards and regulations.
  • Identify ways to mitigate potential risks and recommend solutions based on analysis.
  • Document data flow, systems, and processes to improve business processes.

Requirements:

  • Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
