About the Opportunity

* Develops and directs an effective system of accounting and related controls for all associated companies.
* Advises and makes recommendations to the President concerning company objectives, policies or plans as they relate to accounting/finance.
* Assists and coordinates with the company's external accountants in their annual review of financial statements.
* Ensures that all federal and provincial tax reporting is prepared and filed on time with the appropriate government agencies.
* Provides regular cash forecasting and ensures that adequate funds are available to meet current and future obligations.
* Maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including shareholders, banks, external accountants, suppliers and customers.
* Leadership and management of the accounting team.

About You

* Professional CPA designation
* Strong computer/IT skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous experience with new systems implementation
* Operational responsibility
* Experience with Sage 300 is desirable

Salary Range

$100,000 - $115,000/year
