Uxbridge Cottage Hospital is renowned for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to over 412,000 patients annually. The facility offers diagnostic and emergency services alongside clinical programs in acute medicine, surgery, addiction treatment, mental health, and maternal/child health services. With a wide array of specialized providers, it serves as the cornerstone of community healthcare for the residents of the Township of Uxbridge.

Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will work assigned shifts, delivering both proactive and reactive security patrols and responding to incidents.

Your duties will include writing reports and investigating routine incidents, as well as promptly addressing coded emergencies.

Exceptional customer service skills are essential, as you will interact with individuals under stress or in need of medical assistance.

Physical fitness is crucial, as you will be required to stand and walk for extended periods.


This role encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • Working on assigned shifts
  • Conducting 12-hour shifts with proactive and reactive security patrols and incident responses.
  • Documenting reports and investigating routine incidents.
  • Responding to coded emergencies efficiently.
  • Exhibiting excellent customer service skills
  • Engaging with individuals under stress or requiring medical assistance.
  • Maintaining physical fitness to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
