Job Profile: Asset Protection Officer (Customer Service)

Reports to: Kristy Phelan

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Officer to join our team. As an Asset Protection Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to all internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all internal and external customers.
  • Respond to security alarms and incidents as required.
  • Assess safety hazards and take proper procedures to ensure customer safety.
  • Escalate any crisis or emergency situations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and submit daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to foster partnerships with store teams.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building relationships.
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to walk or stand in the same position for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
