Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our clients.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and trained to meet the demands of our clients.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a high level of productivity while ensuring excellent customer service.
Physical Demands:- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
- Client focus, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Team player, with a strong commitment to collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- Health care plan.
- Supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, promoting skills development and career advancement.
- Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural understanding and reconciliation.
