Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Self Service Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Self Service Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional support and assistance at our self-service checkout areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers using our self-service checkout options.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Area Maintenance
    • Ensure the self-service checkout area is clean, organized, and free of debris.
    • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Technical Support
    • Assist customers with technical issues related to self-service checkout equipment.
    • Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues with self-service checkout systems.
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Previous customer service experience an asset.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
