Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously identify opportunities for growth and development with both new and existing clients.
  • Manage the profitability of your designated territory, utilizing the resources provided by Gordon Food Service to surpass customer expectations in service, quality, and partnership.
  • Serve as a business partner to customer accounts, focusing on enhancing their operations and offering tailored menu solutions as necessary.
  • Introduce new products and market trends to both new and existing clients.
  • Analyze territory reports to assess progress and sales volume, monitoring budgets and business plans while identifying product line targets for accounts.
  • Collaborate with your District Sales Manager (DSM) to ensure alignment on customer contracts and explore opportunities for business growth through contract sales.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Support Center, Marketing, Warehouse, Transportation, and Credit Department as needed to guarantee customer satisfaction with all products and services.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in food service sales and management.
  • Proven sales experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • A proactive approach with a focus on achieving results.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and thrive under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and self-motivation.
  • Strong collaborative skills and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing is considered an asset.
