About the Role

CDC Hamilton is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our marketing efforts and contributing to the development of our marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Marketing Strategies

Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing strategies and programs to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

Develop Marketing Materials

Prepare and develop high-quality marketing materials, including reports, briefs, website content, and other collateral, to support our marketing efforts.

Conduct Market Research

Conduct comparative research on marketing strategies for industrial and commercial products to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Support Newcomers and Refugees

Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Support Indigenous People

Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers and provide cultural competency training to all employees.

Administrative Tasks

Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and other duties as required.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a marketing or related field.

Language

English is the primary language of communication.
