Corrosion Field Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corrosion Field Support Engineer to join our team at ICE Dragon Corrosion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing a Corrosion Field Support CR01 program for a long-standing client, working closely with our central team in Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Introduce the program and your role to field stakeholders and ramp up the uptake of program services
  • Provide onsite support to clients in the field for corrosion audits, husbandry maintenance items, and common defect issues
  • Support clients with practical corrosion, painting, and husbandry knowledge and coaching on basic maintenance tasks
  • Communicate data and feedback and requests with the Program Coordinator
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in corrosion engineering or related discipline
  • Related AMPP coating inspector qualifications strongly preferred (AMPP CIP Level 1 / 2, AMPP CP 2, other)
  • Field experience in reliability, condition monitoring, NDT, inspections, coating inspection
  • Strong project management skills
  • Fluent English required, French is an asset
