About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team at Bethany CollegeSide. As a Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, their families, and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident-Centered Care: Provide personalized care and support to residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
- Documentation: Accurately document and report care and related observations to the Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in a timely manner.
- Safety: Contribute to a safe environment for residents, the team, and self by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
- Pro-active Learner: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Team Work: Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Requirements
- Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Registered with the Government of Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
- Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment
- Demonstrates ability to understand, speak, read, and write effectively in English
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Position Type: Part Time Temporary
- Shift: Evenings (1500-2315 & 1600 - 2000)
- Hours of Work/Shift Per Cycle: 2 x 7.75hrs & 12 x 4 Evenings in a 4-week Cycle
