Health Care Aide

**Responsibilities:**
Provide personalized care and support to residents, including personal care, activities of daily living, and leisure activities
Assist with medication administration and reporting changes in resident conditions
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Collaborate with the care team to create and update care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and comfort for our residents
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to SE Health policies and procedures
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing the needs of our residents and the care team
**Requirements:**
Registration with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
Current immunization record, including a TB test within the past year
Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and communication skills
Compassionate and respectful approach, with effective problem-solving and conflict management skills
Physical stamina to perform duties, including lifting, standing, and moving with ease
