About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2238192 Ontario Inc. as a Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
    • Develop and implement efficient systems and processes to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Supervise and Train Staff
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Standards
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, ensuring that our customers receive a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Address Customer Concerns
    • Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment
  • Supervision: 3-4 people
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, team player
