About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Class Design Irrigation & Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our landscape maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • No formal education or certification is required, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Work Experience
    • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting
    • Our team works at various locations, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
    • Cut and maintain grass, including mowing, edging, and trimming.
    • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris.
    • Remove litter and garbage from properties.
    • Lay sod or seed to maintain lawns and gardens.
    • Repair and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscape maintenance tools.
    • Write daily progress reports to document tasks completed and any issues encountered.
    • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, including irrigation systems.
    • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other equipment.
  • Work Environment
    • Our team works in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Work Schedule
    • Our team works 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
