Position: Lead Electrical Cost Estimator
MountainCrest Personnel Inc. is seeking a skilled Lead Electrical Cost Estimator to enhance our Electrical Projects division.
Key Responsibilities:
# Accurately assess project expenses and modifications.
# Generate requests for quotations to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
# Collaborate with the Chief Estimator to formulate project indirect costs and overheads for each estimate.
# Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
# Relevant electrical qualifications or field experience, or AScT., with a solid understanding of electrical sub-trades scope of work.
# Proficient in interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
# Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, electrical trade scope, and Bid Depository regulations.
# Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel); familiarity with Accubid Estimating Software is a significant advantage.
# Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
This leadership role requires a commitment to working in the office a minimum of three days per week, with the possibility of additional days to support the team.
