Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Terrace. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Housekeeping Operations
    • Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to our quality standards and protocols.
    • Coordinate the inspection of assigned areas to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff have access to the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their duties.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all guest requests are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
