Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Terrace. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including housekeeping supervisors and housekeeping attendants.
    • Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they are meeting their job responsibilities and providing excellent service to guests.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
    • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to housekeeping operations.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies, including linens, cleaning chemicals, and equipment.
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff have access to the necessary supplies and equipment to perform their job duties.
  • Guest Service
    • Respond to guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services.
    • Work with guests to resolve any issues or concerns related to their stay.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
