Painter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Wescon Cedar Products Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as repairing cracks and holes. You will also mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces.
- Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to surfaces.
- Wall Decor and Finishing: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in painting and surface preparation.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Airless spray equipment and brush painting.
- Coating/Application Specialization: Paint spraying.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
- Weight Handling: Ability to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and team player.
