We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Wescon Cedar Products Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes
- Mix paint to the desired color and texture
- Apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Use airless spray equipment and brush painting techniques
- Work in a physically demanding environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in painting and decorating
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift over 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills
