Assistant Store Manager in Training Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager in Training at Loblaw Companies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete self-directed development through online modules, on-the-job training, department-specific practicums, projects, and stretch sessions, focusing on leadership, financial management, customer experience, and operations.
  • Develop the ability to anticipate customer needs and prioritize their satisfaction in all aspects of your work.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to achieve success, foster a culture of selling, and promote colleague growth and development.
  • Contribute to community initiatives that build long-term relationships with the community and drive business growth.
  • Ensure adherence to merchandising, operational standards, and financial objectives, and take ownership of addressing opportunities for improvement in each department.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to inform business strategy and drive results.
