About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team at Trek Geotechnical Inc. as a Geotechnical Engineering Specialist. This is a permanent full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to gather data and information.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations, and testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with our team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement geotechnical engineering solutions for our clients.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of construction sites and identify potential risks and hazards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of site visits, inspections, and testing results.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
