Civil Engineering Technician Job Description

Trek Geotechnical Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for participating in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to test construction materials and ensure their quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement solutions to address any issues identified during field surveys and inspections.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and tools as required.
