Civil Engineering Technician Job Description

Trek Geotechnical Inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will be responsible for participating in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to test construction materials and ensure their quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement solutions to complex geotechnical problems.
  • Provide technical support to our project managers and engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
Work Environment:

As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail. You will also be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
