Boart Longyear is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team in Haileybury, Ontario. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing drilling equipment and mobile support equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose equipment faults to determine repair requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Test and verify equipment performance to meet regulatory specifications
  • Collaborate with other departments to establish work schedules and coordinate activities
  • Requisition parts, materials, and supplies as needed
  • Develop and implement methods to improve productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Millwright or Heavy-Duty Mechanic Trade Certification (Red Seal)
  • Completion of secondary school and three- to five-year apprenticeship program
  • Valid driver's license and standard first aid certification
  • Underground common core and basic safety orientation an asset

Education and Experience:
