About the Job:

Première Moisson is seeking a skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our plant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the health and well-being of our employees and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning of social areas, including locker rooms, cafeteria, toilets, factory entrance, and offices.
  • Maintain the plant's sanitary equipment, including washbasins, soap dispensers, and glove dispensers.
  • Maintain floors using industrial cleaning equipment, such as mops and industrial zambonis.
  • Weekly verification of washing solution concentrations and maintenance of the compilation register.
  • Perform tasks in the dishwashing area, including cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Take inventory and complete required documentation on a daily basis.
  • Maintain work tools and report any functional problems to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Occupational Health and Safety policy.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

  • Experience in janitorial services and/or housekeeping.
  • Knowledge of WHMIS (an asset).
  • Able to work in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to adapt to schedule changes and urgent tasks.
