Role OverviewWe are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Smart Collaboration Product Development team. This role involves the development of Unified Communication products such as meeting room cameras, speakers, microphones, and smart displays, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners globally.
The Solutions Architect will be pivotal in shaping the next generation of unified communication audio and video systems, engaging with software and hardware partners like Microsoft, Zoom, Google, Intel, and Qualcomm.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients to assess their audio-visual requirements and opportunities.
- Collaborate with UC software partners to design next-generation audio and video systems.
- Architect meeting room audio and video system designs, including control and network components.
- Develop comprehensive specifications and design frameworks for audio and video systems.
- Lead prototype development with vendors and conduct feasibility assessments as needed.
- Influence audio and video feature roadmaps through collaboration with marketing and business teams.
- Engage with key customers and partners to gather feedback on future concepts and enhance confidence in Lenovo's offerings.
- Marketing and Program Management teams in the United States.
- External partners including Microsoft, Zoom, Google, Intel, and Qualcomm.
- Top customer accounts and channel partners, serving as a representative in advisory councils.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in architecting and developing unified communication products or related technologies.
- Demonstrated experience working with major software and hardware partners.
- Expertise in designing and developing audio-visual systems, particularly for meeting environments.
- In-depth knowledge of unified communication technologies and protocols.
- Proficiency in AV system design, including video/audio components and network integration.
- Experience in prototype development and conducting feasibility assessments.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to influence and contribute to the audio and video feature roadmap creatively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and capability to lead technical discussions.
- Familiarity with current and emerging unified communication products and trends.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
