Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a combination of garbage trucks and snow transportation vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Regularly check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with supervisors to plan and execute collection routes, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and customer interactions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, DZ class license, and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, hand-eye coordination, and physically demanding tasks.
- Language: Fluency in English.
As a Collection Truck Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often in various locations. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to rest and stretch.
