Frito Lay Credit and Deductions Account Manager

The Frito Lay Credit and Deductions Account Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for leading a team of direct reports who work with our Frito Lay Canada customers to ensure timely payment of invoices and efficient processing of deductions. This role involves performing in-depth analysis of business results and providing valuable insights to senior management to maintain financial statement integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Direct supervision of a team of associates who manage the collection and processing of deductions from our Frito Lay Canada customers, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Motivate and challenge associates to achieve business and people results, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Provide timely and constructive development feedback, including regular meetings with direct reports, team meetings, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and Global Control Standards (GCS) documentation, driving process improvements and enhancements.
- Focus on achieving cash flow targets related to Accounts Receivable balances and DCSO targets, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Participate as a subject matter expert for Accounts Receivable and Trade, contributing to the implementation of new technologies and ERP solutions.
- Lead and manage functional, business, and system implementation initiatives, driving project success and business outcomes.
- Prior experience leading a team of processing associates, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts.
- Proven problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving business results.
- Knowledge of Mfg Pro and SAP Accounts Receivable ERP module, with the ability to leverage this expertise to drive process improvements.
- Post-Secondary Accounting degree, with a CPA designation being a significant asset.
