About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Animal Health International. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, resolving delinquencies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts, including analyzing delinquent balances and determining the best course of action to resolve customer delinquency.
  • Research and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide analytical support to customers and internal stakeholders to resolve account discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with branch personnel and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues.
  • Identify and resolve customer account discrepancies, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Manage the collection of delinquent accounts while maintaining a positive customer service culture.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of progressive accounts receivable credit and collections experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of information.
  • Customer-centric approach to business, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and French Canadian (speak, read, write).
