About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at A&W. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to high standards, ensuring a great dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
  • Short order cooking and food preparation
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You will be part of a team that is client-focused, flexible, and a team player.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
