Logistics Supervisor Job Description

Lakeside variety store is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer demands.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure a high level of job knowledge and performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a logistics or operations role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a warehouse environment.
  • High school graduation certificate and relevant education or training.
Work Environment:

Lakeside variety store offers a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. As a Logistics Supervisor, you will be working in a warehouse setting with a team of experienced professionals.

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
